Dielectric Materials
Cuming Microwave manufactures a full line of low loss dielectric materials. Our materials range in dielectric constant from 1.05 to 25. These materials have unique dielectric and physical properties. Dielectric materials can be used to adjust the Q of cavities, as impedance transitions, substrates for stripline antennas, in transmission lines, smart skins, as dielectric radomes, dielectric spacers, or for circuit substrates.
Products are available in rod or sheet form, pack-in-place syntactic foam, rigid foam sheet stock, or as a two-component foaming system. In addition to standard configurations, we can custom fabricate components and work with our customers to find creative solutions to tough problems.

(210-1) C-STOCK AK and AK-500 Plastic stock filled with low loss ceramic fillers in dielectric constants ranging from 3 to 25. Material can be easily machined. Available in sheets, rods or custom machined shapes.
(210-2) C-STOCK LowK Plastic stock filled with hollow low loss ceramic fillers in dielectric constants of 1.7 or 1.9. Material can be easily machined. Available in sheets, rods or custom machined shapes.
(210-3) C-STOCK .0005 Low loss polystyrene sheet and rod stock, with a dielectric constant of 2.54 and loss tangent of 0.0005. Material can be easily machined. Available in sheets, rods or custom machined shapes.
(210-4) C-STOCK 265 Low density artificial dielectric material. Using a combination of hollow
(210-5) C-STOCK RH A rigid open-cell acrylic foam with low dielectric constant (e=1.09) and loss, and high strength with easy machinability. Available in stock sheets of various thicknesses, or custom fabricated
(210-6) C-FOAM PF A flexible closed-cell polyethylene foam with low dielectric constant (e=1.03) and loss. Available in thin sheets, or custom fabricated.
(210-7) C-STOCK HCN A strong hypalon-coated nylon fabric which can be used for weatherproofing absorber materials, with its low RF insertion loss, or to create large radome structures.
(210-8) C-FOAM PK Two component liquid urethane rigid foam system. The components react quickly to expand to a solid rigid foam with dielectric constant below 1.1
